Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13 1962) is an American actress. After her 1983 debut film Bad Boys, Sheedy became one of the Brat group with actors. She starred in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985), Short Circuit (1986) as well as WarGames. Her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actress. Ally Sheedy, an American writer and actress. She started her career in acting in the film Bad Boys at the beginning in the 80s. Rick Rosenthal directed the movie that also featured a number of prominent actors Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. The actress was in The Breakfast Club in 1985 the comedy that followed her initial success. John Hughes directed one of best films aimed at high schools. Even though the budget of the film was only $1 million its profits exceeded $50 million. She also began appearing on a number of television programs, such as CBS Schoolbreak. This was her debut on television. It was a program specifically for teens that began airing in April of 1980. She also appeared on other TV series such as Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. Her most recent appearances are Little Sister as well as X-Men Apocalypse, a movie featuring a hero in which she is a character. Sheedy won numerous awards in 2005 due to her performance. She also was honored an MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
