She was hired by Fox News Channel to be a general assignment journalist in the year 2005. Few years later, Fox Report Weekend' became her anchor. Julie Banderas, in her professional life to date, has reported on a variety of important issues including the storm Dennis and the disappearance US Student Natalee Holoway. The award was presented to her as an award called the Outstanding Single Newscast Emmy Award (2004) for her reporting on the Republican National Convention.
